Panko Crusted Halibut

Panko Crusted Halibut

In the summer months, we are constantly eating fresh fish. So, we are always looking for new ways to prepare all of our favorite fishes. Halibut has definitely become a staple fish in our house recently, and we started making this recipe last summer in 2018.

Halibut is one of those fishes that can be made so many different ways, but this recipe has grown on us over the last year since we started making it and it is super simple! Who doesn’t love a simple recipe?!

To make the topping for this fish, you simply mix together in a small bowl the Panko breadcrumbs, lemon zest, horseradish cream, parsley, parmesan cheese, garlic, and olive oil. This mixture should be moist and sprinkled with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, the piece of halibut goes on a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet and is drizzled with lemon juice and sprinkled with salt and pepper. All that is left to do is top the fish with the Panko mixture, drizzle with clarified butter, and bake it for approximately 12-15 minutes.

We are so excited to share some of our other favorite halibut recipes with you throughout the summer!
