Crabs & Spaghetti

Crabs & Spaghetti

Summers at the Jersey shore always meant there were fresh caught crabs from crabbing off the dock on the bay. Having so many fresh crabs every weekend turned this dish into a staple summer time meal and has since been a favorite. This was especially my great grandmothers favorite meal and has become a favorite for my mom and me as well!

This classic summer dish is perfect to serve when a lot of people are around! As this tradition has been passed down through the generations in our family, we now make this dish on many summer weekends at the Jersey shore with my uncles family. My uncle who is my Mom’s brother is our neighbor down the shore so we are always sharing big dinners with his family and celebrating the summer. I will always cherish the memories I have throughout my life of summers with my family at the Jersey shore! We cannot wait to continue to share our staple beach recipes with you throughout the whole summer and for the great beach memories that are on their way for Summer 2019!
