These chicken burgers are seriously delicious and loaded with fresh dill, scallions, spinach, basil, and feta. They’re super herby and served alongside a lemony cucumber dill sauce. Don’t forget the kettle cooked chips and beer though because it’s almost Super Bowl so it’s kind of essential. What are your Super Bowl plans guys ?! Any fun parties ?! Game day foods ?!
I don’t know what it is about Super Bowl Sunday, but I always get way too excited about all the game day cocktails and foods. There are just endless possibilities when it comes to game day food, and every Super Bowl always brings something different to the table.
Hence the chicken burgers, but do them greek style. So I’m sure you’re all wondering, why not buffalo chicken burgers on game day?! And I totally get where you’re coming from, but if I had to guess, I’d say about half the things you serve on Super Bowl Sunday are going to be some kind of buffalo chicken style. Am I right?! I mean there’s buffalo chicken dip, buffalo chicken pizza, buffalo chicken bites, buffalo style wings. So let’s try something a little different and go with greek chicken burgers.
These burgers are totally delicious and definitely still great for game day regardless of missing the buffalo aspect. These are herby, lemony, and best part they’re healthy! The sauce is what really makes these a winner though. It’s a Tzatziki sauce made with yogurt, feta, lemon, dill, and cucumbers. It’s a perfectly refreshing dip for these yummy burgers.
Since it is Super Bowl though, you can’t forget to have some chips on the side and definitely a beer (or a cocktail) !! I mean aside from the food, the cocktails are the second most important part of Super Bowl Sunday, you know?!
