Crabs & Spaghetti
Crabs & Spaghetti. One of our all time favorite summer dinners. This dish is an Italian summer staple and we could literally eat this alllll the time. A little spicy crab sauce topped with lump crab meat, basil, and red pepper flakes. Summer in a bowl and it’s addicting !!
An absolute favorite in the summertime…crabs and spaghetti. Well actually this is just as much a favorite in the winter as it is in the summer, but it definitely feels more festive and fitting eating this dish in the summer. The crab gravy has just got to be one of our favorite things…you could pour it over anything and it would still be good.
I feel like we should be having this dinner at the beach tonight, but we are actually home. We’re celebrating my aunts birthday and retirement tonight, so we had to have a decadent dinner. And everyone in my family loves crabs and spaghetti so we thought this was the perfect thing to make.
We are also serving Aglio e Olio, grilled swordfish, grilled Caesar salad, and fried cod. I know I know…A LOT of food. But it was all delicious and everyone really enjoyed the night. And of course we had to serve it all with very good wines also ;))) cheers and happy birthday fo my aunt !!
